On the afternoon of May 23, 2026, at 4:30 PM, the Asian American Attorneys Association (AAAA), together with more than a dozen New York community organizations, successfully hosted “Elite Night,” a themed networking event held at VShow in Flushing, New York. Outstanding professionals from law, business, finance, education, media, technology, and youth entrepreneurship gathered to build friendships and discuss the road ahead.
AAAA has long worked to bring together Asian American legal professionals, serve the community, and advance pro bono legal education. As one of the event’s co-hosts, the Association places great importance on the growth of young talent and cross-industry exchange. Several AAAA member attorneys attended in person, connecting with young professionals from all walks of life, sharing career insights, and answering legal questions of common interest. Claire Jingjing Xue, Director of AAAA’s Events Committee, took part throughout in organizing and hosting — from guest check-in to on-site coordination — attending to every detail with warmth and care, and contributing greatly to the event’s success.
The event was co-hosted by the Asian American Attorneys Association together with the American Henan Association, the Fujian Association USA, the New York Northeastern (Dongbei) Fellowship Association, the China-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the United Hebei Association of America, the Jiangsu-Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce of America, the American Wushu Association, the New York Korean-Chinese Association, the Youth Committee of the Zhejiang General Chamber of Commerce of America, and the Henan Youth Committee of America (in no particular order). The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, with thoughtfully arranged check-in activities, guided icebreaker exchanges, and open networking — helping guests connect and expand their networks naturally, and fostering cross-industry exchange and cooperation.
During the evening, a consul from the Chinese Consulate General in New York attended at the organizers’ invitation, mingling warmly with guests and expressing interest in and support for the event’s success. Representatives of several co-hosting organizations took the stage to offer remarks, extending a warm welcome to guests who had traveled to attend and wishing everyone friendship and opportunity.
Throughout the evening, guests engaged actively with one another. Many said the event not only introduced them to like-minded new friends but also opened up possibilities for future resource-sharing, professional collaboration, and community partnership. For young legal professionals in particular, meeting peers from business, finance, technology, and other fields face to face was a valuable, horizon-broadening experience.
As a youth networking event jointly organized by numerous New York community organizations, “Elite Night” fully reflected the unity, mutual support, and positive spirit of New York’s Chinese community. It further strengthened the connections among community organizations and demonstrated their shared commitment to the development of young people.
AAAA noted that it will continue to support and take part in high-quality community gatherings like this one, drawing on its legal expertise to safeguard the healthy development of the Chinese community. Going forward, it will continue to partner with New York community organizations to host more youth-networking, business-social, pro bono legal-education, and cultural-exchange events, creating more opportunities for the growth and connection of Chinese American youth.
The evening concluded in a warm and joyful atmosphere, with guests taking photos together to capture the memorable occasion.
