The Asian American Attorneys Association (AAAA), in conjunction with First American Title Insurance Company, presents a Continuing Legal Education seminar on tax-deferred exchanges under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code — “1031 Exchange Rule: Simplified.” The program is co-hosted with the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) New York East and Brooklyn chapters and Abacus Federal Savings Bank, and sponsored by KCT Abstract.
Featured Speaker — Michael S. Brady, Esq.
Michael S. Brady is Vice President and National Sales Director for First American Exchange Company, a leading national qualified intermediary for tax deferred exchanges pursuant to Internal Revenue Code Section 1031. In addition to overseeing the company’s sales efforts nationwide, he is a member of the senior leadership team and advises staff and clients on technical tax and legal issues.
Mr. Brady has over 30 years of experience in assisting clients with 1031 exchanges and commercial and residential real estate matters. As an attorney who is licensed in the state of New York, he also has experience in business transactional law, litigation, and estate planning and administration. Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University for Political Science, and a Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School. He earned the Certified Exchange Specialist® designation from the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and serves on that organization’s CES® Council. Mr. Brady has published many articles on tax and legal issues and has given seminars to top law and accounting firms and real estate companies nationwide.
