AAAA Holds Attorneys’ Golf Networking Event

On the afternoon of Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Asian American Attorneys Association (AAAA) — through its Youth Committee and Events Committee — successfully hosted an attorneys’ golf networking event at the Alley Pond Golf Center (232-01 Northern Blvd, Douglaston, NY 11362). On a lush midsummer afternoon, attorneys and friends of the legal community gathered at the range to practice their swings, connect over golf, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon together.
AAAA board members Dylan Chan, Esq. and Louisa Wu, Esq. were on hand to coach first-time golfers, walking beginners through grip, stance, and swing until they found their rhythm and were soon enjoying themselves. Events Committee Director Claire Jingjing Xue, together with Youth Committee Directors Richard Wang and Peiyao Tang, organized every detail — buying the drinks and snacks in advance, arriving early to set up, and warmly welcoming each attorney on arrival.
The event welcomed players of all skill levels, with beginners especially encouraged. The range provided golf balls and clubs for rent, and the organizers laid out snacks and drinks for everyone. Costs were kept friendly — free for AAAA members and $20 per person for non-members — so that as many colleagues as possible could take part.
The atmosphere was warm and lively. Between swings, attendees traded pointers and conversation, getting some exercise while deepening the connections among colleagues. The response afterward was enthusiastic: attorneys immediately asked that similar outings be held every month — a chance to stay active, strengthen professional ties, and all at modest cost.
AAAA noted that it will continue to organize a variety of social and networking activities through its Youth Committee and Events Committee, building a relaxed, healthy, and welcoming platform for Asian American legal professionals to connect.
